Manakal is a non-profit organization founded by Adriana Luz Carrizosa and Vikrant Joshi, United People Global Sustainability Leaders working across Mexico, India, and the Global South. Manakal exists to empower the next generation with the knowledge, skills, and guidance needed to turn concern for the planet into meaningful action.
Rooted in the belief that the future does not belong to us but is entrusted to us, Manakal nurtures young changemakers to build a healthier relationship with the environment and lead a better tomorrow.

WHAT WE DO
Manakal works with young people aged 13 to 35, from school students to young professionals, to turn awareness into action. We create accessible learning pathways that build environmental awareness early, develop practical skills, and support real-world impact.
Through education, toolkits, project incubation, mentorship, and upskilling programs, we help students explore sustainability, guide young adults in translating interest into action, and support professionals in integrating climate and social impact into their work. At every stage, Manakal offers clear direction, practical resources, and opportunities to collaborate and lead meaningful change.
